So I’ve been hinting at this but now I am making it official!
As I shared in my blog post here:
and here:
I am refocusing the BaldGirlWillTravel brand on my love for solo travel as a 50+-year-old black woman.
I will also be using that platform and my new Facebook group to encourage more women 40 and over to embrace solo travel.
Via that platform and website, I will continue to take you on my travel adventures near and far In Mexico and wherever the next great Discount flight takes me😊
So what about my work helping my clients walk away from toxic Hostile and Discriminatory workplaces? Have no fear that work will also continue just in a different way.
To continue to get HR tips about escaping a discriminatory Hostile Work Environment with your 💵💰 on your terms and timeline I invite you to follow me on Instagram at The Anti HR, HR lady. and visit my website The AntiHR, HR Lady HERE.
When I worked in HR every day I always saw myself as the anti-HR HR lady because I always felt that HR actually should be there to support and protect employees. But over time it became clear to me that as long as I was working inside HR I would never be able to meet that goal.
I am a licensed attorney and I worked in HR and oversaw HR for a combined 20+ years. The one thing that I know for a fact is that HR as it is commonly practiced in the United States and elsewhere exists to protect institutions and therefore management of those institutions. It exists to shield them from liability at all cost. I talk about that in my YouTube chat HERE.
In an order to get what you need out of HR you have to understand that and then learn how to leverage that knowledge to your benefit.
HR is not your enemy but they are definitely not your friends. They don’t exist to protect you.
That’s where I come in.
I want you to really understand how to use human resources to further your career development interest. Understanding how to interact with HR and your manager will position you to get whatever it is that you need at work. Whether it’s a promotion, a lateral career change, or an exit on your own terms with your coins.
As your AntiHR, HR lady I am here to shine a light and provide all the information you need to help you navigate your workplace on your terms.
You can follow me for this information in the following places:

You can continue to book a time to consult with me on specific HR issues HERE.
On my new site, I share information about how to walk away from bad work environments on your terms, as well as general HR tips to help you keep your career plans and goals on point. Consider me your personal HR coach and consultant. If you can’t get a straight answer from your HR department let’s have a talk. If I don’t know the answer I will certainly will know how to get you the answer.
Even if you never strike out as an UnEmployable entrepreneur, I still want you to know how to make Human Resources really work for you so that you can get the most out of your job or career.
Whether it’s getting that Pay increase or promotion you’ve earned but have not received;
Understanding how to leverage employer-sponsored professional development opportunities and programs so you can move to the next level in your career;
Or
walking away from a toxic abusive and/or discriminatory work environment with allll your coins
I got you.
My goals have not changed. Just my approach.
My goal continues to be helping as many people as possible, especially black women, walk away from jobs that don’t serve them; and helping them get to the mindset to live their best life possible through Coaching, Career change or my personal favorite – solo travel and living abroad!
