Happy new year everyone. It is still the new year right (smile)?
You guys haven’t heard much from me since the start of the year as I have been trying to think carefully about communications but I wanted to give you an update on some changes I’m making to ensure a better work-life balance for myself.
As I shared in a recent blog post, I am really focusing on doing things that bring me joy in 2022 and ensuring that even in my work I am putting my happiness front and center while continuing to add value to my customers and clients.
I’ve been rethinking my Hostile Work Environment Escape Strategy (HWEES) program and have made some changes to ensure that I am providing the right kind of information and services to current and future clients.
While I will still provide one-to-one HWEES consulting and advice, I have made some adjustments to how I will do that.
my fees have changed effective January 1, 2022.
Starting January 1, 2022, I updated my 1:1 consulting packages and now offering two 1:1 coaching and consulting options:
- Option 1: Four weeks with 4 curated and customized sessions
- Option 2: Eight weeks with 7 curated and customized sessions
Consulting package prices have increased for the new year but payment plans will continue to be available.
Because I recognize that my new rates may not be accessible for everyone, the reduced price of the 4-part HWEES webinar series will remain the same.
Participants in the webinar will also receive a 30% off discount code for enrollment in the 1:1 package of their choice.
I will also provide a 30% discount on the 1:1 consulting packages throughout the month of February as we celebrate Black History month in the United States.
Another change for 2022 is instead of the live Wednesday’s “Let’s talk about It“ segment on YouTube. I will be pre-recording short HR tips and information sessions and sharing them with you on YouTube starting in March 2022. They will continue to drop on Wednesdays.

As I shared in my recent blog post, I am prioritizing joy in 2022 and seeking to make time for my number one passion – Travel.
While I will continue to do HR consulting, it is important for me to carve out time to ensure that I am enjoying all aspects of my live abroad life and setting an example for others to do the same.
I will be sharing more about my life in Mexico and my solo travels in upcoming blog posts and on social media. I have noticed the dearth of perspectives about solo travel for single black women over 50 and many have asked me to share more from that perspective so I will!
